HELLO I’M
Cindy
An open heart and a curious mind have led me on the road to where I am today.
I came to psychotherapy through a winding maze of diverse experiences - both personal and professional.
Professionally I’ve worked as an artist and photographer, I’ve travelled the world as a superyacht stewardess, and I hold several years of experience working as a Registered Dietitian both in clinical settings (focus on eating disorders, gastrointestinal health, and chronic illness) and in leadership and management.
I would describe myself as daringly curious, a voracious learner, and passionate about human complexity and ambiguity. This combination of traits has led me towards a journey of self-exploration and a yearning to move towards deeper alignment, authenticity and embodiment. For me, this is an ever-evolving journey. I like to call it soulsearchitis*.
I have learned to embrace the chaos, to take leaps of faith (while making space for my fears), to look at parts of myself that I'm fearful of, and to integrate my experiences of hardship into a narrative of personal meaning and growth.
The Road to Self remains an imperfect way of living and being. It has led me right here - genuinely passionate about taking the time to know others in a way that invites the gradual development of trust, intimacy, and a deep integration of self and inner belonging. Inevitably, this journey reverberates outside of therapy, and I choose to embrace it as a contribution to a more honest and connected world.
I should also add that I find immense joy in life's simple pleasures (in no particular order) -
My two fluffy cats - Kaj and Pearl
Deciding that a "fit of laughter" with my partner is my ideal nervous system reset.
The all-around child-like sense of wonder that I continue to discover in my art projects and nature.
Life is both simple and complex. Yet, I can assure you -
everything is already here.

soulsearchitis
noun · sōl-sərch-ī-təs
A condition of the soul that is characterized by boundless suffering in which a human being searches externally for acceptance and belonging.
Living with soulsearchitis involves a healing journey of tuning inwards to tend to the parts that have been outcast due to emotional harm. Once the parts begin to reintegrate, a path to self will emerge.
